Product Catalog
This application allows customers to view all products available for them to purchase.
The product list and product pricing are customer specific. Therefore, customers will only see products available for them to purchase at prices established specifically for them. As a result, different customers may see different lists of available products at varying prices.
This customer-specific personalization is enabled by standard SAP material listing/exclusion and the pricing procedures maintained in SAP. However, it can also be customized based on unique requirements.
Filtering
Filtering is available based on product Category or Attributes.
- Categories are hierarchical, and a product can belong to only one lower-level category. These are typically based on the Product Hierarchy in the Material Master but can also be determined from other fields in SAP.
- Attributes are more freely defined and assigned to products. Each product may have several attributes, and not every product needs to have the same set of attributes.
To filter the catalog, simply select a Category and/or an Attribute.
To reset the filter and display all products, click on the "Reset filters" button:
Managing Carts
A Cart is simply a Sales Order that has not yet been Submitted to SAP.
To create a new Cart, click on the "New Cart" button:
Not all fields below will be visible to all users, this will depend on how your solution is configured.
To switch between Carts, select this dropdown:
Once all products have been added to the Cart, you can continue processing your order by clicking the "View Shopping Cart" button, which will navigate to the Sales Order Processing App.
